Great place for a quick bite.
Great place.
The naan bread is good. Not the best curry on island but it’ll suffice for a quick fix. Lightly crisp chicken cutlet with cheese and at least a level 7 is the way to go.
Delicious as always. Its a must when in Okinawa
Each dish it set up very similarly but at the same time there are plenty of options to eat with the curry, and it tastes great! Definitely a different flavor from Indian curry such as Bollywood.
Good curry rice, quick and inexpensive. The meat in this particular restaurant was not as good as in other coco's...
Standard experience across the brand. It's not Indian Curry, it's not Japanese Curry, it's a category and a taste all it's own. Good taste, good Curry.
I absolutely love their food. I usually get rhe hamburger stuffed with cheese curry on a spice of three. My husband usually gets chicken with vegatable curry spice 5. They are super clean, and friendly. Large potions!
Ideal for a quick meal and a drink if you like curry.
Delicious food and comfortable environment, very recommend
Very good!
Lifesaver, since it is one of the few locations on Okinawa that is open 24 hours and speaks English well enough for everyone to benefit from it. Also has a drive in that allows you to take-away with ease and payable by credit/debit card. Please like this review if it helps. :)
The fast-food equivalent for curry! Great for a quick meal, or a late night place to go have a bite after the bar. The options for curry are quite vast from choosing your meat, topping, spice level, and how big of a portion of rice. Naan bread here isn't anything spectacular, just microwaved and a bit doughy for my liking. The place is always clean, the staff is always friendly, and service is never bad!
CoCo is, hands down, the best place to go for fast, great comfort food. You can customize pretty much any dish to satisfy your cravings and it’s probably the most realistic “spice” levels on the island. For those of us that like a little kick but want to have a comfortable experience, I’d recommend staying within the 2-4 range. I promise you, your eyes are bigger than your stomach; ordering the 200g of rice leaves me feeling full and satisfied without my stomach about to burst every time. It’s great, but definitely not the most memorable place to eat on island. Perfect for a quick, hot meal!
Best curry I’ve had in Japan, so far.
Excellent curry!
Best curry house in Japan
How was CoCo's Curry? It was amazing, just like every time I have been there since 2005, which is a lot. It doesn't matter which location you go to, the service and the food are always the best. Occasionally the spice levels can vary, but that's it. I have found the Naha and Kadena(24hr) to be the spiciest per level, and the foster and yomitan to be the mildest. Still delicious, always.
Literally put two orders into one plate and served it to us after explaining it several times.
Okay... I love Coco... and the food I received was delicious. I usually have no problems with order accuracy at this chain. But of the three items my fiancé and I ordered, two of them were wrong!! Even though we both said the names of our items and pointed at their specific images on the menu just in case. If you come here you may want to ask the waiter to read back your order. We didn’t want to fuss because our receipt was also incorrect (therefore the price was correct for what we received rather than what we ordered) and figured it wasn’t worth it considering the language barrier. But I def was a little disappointed when I received two incorrect orders.
Good prices and flavor. Chicken curry with sausage at heat level 10. Add the special spice for a nice kick.
Best Coco's around Kadena. Fast service and better quality of food!
Enjoyed the new cauliflower rice. The other main menu items are also good as usual, offering a large variety or meat and vegetable choices in addition to alternative choices like salad, curry soups, etc. Not any better or worse than other CoCo locations in the area
Always a pleasure to eat Curry here!!!It's quick, and delicious! If Curry is not your thing theirs other options available.
It's a cheap family restaurant. Japanese style curry, lots of salad choices and non curry food(fries, chicken, soup etc)Mainly they sell curry.
Coco's is a staple of life in Okinawa. The spice levels can very from day to day but it is always delicious. 300g, Level 5, lightly crisped chicken, triple meat. :-) Also offers large library of English manga.
Great curry with so many different combinations of toppings to choose from. We go there almost every week.
This is the best CoCo Curry House. I’ve tried a couple of different ones and this is my favorite one. They are open 24 hours.
Great food curry and different spice levels
All time favorite! So satisfying!
After years in Japan its fair to say I sat here a few dozen times. Although plates are set up similarly, you have way too many options to combine Japanese ingenious with Indian curry plus your fair share of spiciness. I love this place and cant wait to return some day.
Good Japanese curry. Lots of choices and heat levels. Fast service, and inexpensive.
Excellent 24 hour curry house. Fried pork cutlet and garlic cheese Nan we're delicious. Service is quick and to the point.
Asked for a coke with no ice, got a solid 3 ounces of coke. Even the curry levels we’re smaller than every other cocos.
Everytime I visit Japan, Coco's curryhouse is an absolute must. The curry here simply does not compare to anything I get from my country. There are lots of options and seasonal items to keep things interesting. I will always come back for a hot bowl of Coco's curry
My Fav!!
I love the drive thru Cocos! Staff is very friendly and produce quality food everytime!
VEGAN CURRY IS THE BOMB HERE...
Long wait but great service and the standard coco fare. I will be back
Love coco’s curry more than small Japanese shop curry places. My 7 year old son always cleans his plate here too. He gets spice level 1 which is just enough for him. I get 6 which usually has my mouth on fire, but cleans my sinuses out. Pork cutlet curry is our favorite.
Yum. Amazing curries. Cutlets are delicious. Naan bread is fresh and so good. Good parking. Go early. Fills up fast.
Great atmosphere, good variety of meals, and very helpful staff. At one point ate here 4 days in a row.Takes yen/credit.
Great food and timely service!
A family staple. It is always a go to place whenever we can't decide where to go, or we are hungry and want great tasting food.
Don't leave Japan without trying...I order the Tongatsu (Pork Cutlet) with vegetables, Spice level 3 (out of 10), "regular" amount of rice. Also order Cheese Nahn (flat bread). You won't be sorry.
Great place to eat
Light crispy chicken with scrambled eggs and cheese
Most Americans swear by it and crave it when they leave. Basically a Japanese Denny's-style curry restaurant. Get the chicken cutlet curry. Spice levels are inconsistent but I'm a child so I get a 3/10. Nothing at all special about the "naan", if you want to call it that. It's a different texture you can add onto your meal but doesn't really help or hurt the flavor much. They have a signature sauce that is nice, I would recommend a dash of it with maybe a little honey drizzle to maximize flavor.
I miss this place soo much! It’s been 11 years since I’ve had it and I miss it!
Super yummy food!
